Minnesota Pioneer Park is again participating in this city-wide fun event. Various businesses set up in front of City Hall and several other locations around town and offer free samples of their chili, but we want to see you all at the Park. It is free for all, regardless whether you are a member of Pioneer Park or not. We need your support since this is a contest sponsored by the Annandale Chamber of Commerce, and the most votes for the "People's Choice" recipe gets a cash prize; or we could win one of three "Judges' Award" prizes. So stick around and schmooze the Judges, since we certainly can use the cash! Last year the Judges gave us 2nd place, so we are shooting for 1st. place this year in the "People's Choice" category. We need membership support. Bring some friends to try our chili and "VOTE FOR MINNESOTA PIONEER PARK." You can sample our free chili at the Soo LineTrain Depot & Gift Shop. Our chili is a very old pioneer recipe passed down from an early settler in the Annandale area .
The Minnesota Fast Draw Club will be demonstrating in our Pioneer Village which will require Park Admission, and if the rain postpones our Neil K. Seiffert Field day event is will be held this weekend so keep your eye on the weather on May 9th and see if there is even more going on the Field Day event will require Park Admission as well but the Fast Draw will be included if you wish to try your hand at it they may have an additional fee which would be nominal.
